If your pet requires emergency treatment, you will normally be asked to visit our surgery. Most conditions can be treated more efficiently at the surgery, where there is a full range of medication and equipment available.

Out of surgery hours
Although we would love to be able to look after your pets 24/7, with only 2 vets it is impossible for us to do this. We have thought carefully about the provision of an out of hours service and have decided to join Longmead Emergency Service based at Longmead Vets in Shaftesbury. We are confident that their out of hours service is of a very high standard and suitable for your pet’s needs.

Directions to Longmead
Follow the A30 road to Shaftesbury. Go up the steep hill to the Ivy Cross roundabout, then take the second left to Longmead. Longmead Vets is the first on the right, at the end of a narrow lane, where there is plenty of parking.
